What furious Ruben Amorim did in Man United dressing room after Brighton rant
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim angrily addressed his players immediately after the full-time whistle in a career first following the 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Portuguese was apoplectic back in the dressing room after watching his side fall to a routine defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday. The Athletic understands Amorim broke a TV screen used to share tactical information after the loss to an extent where it will need to be fixed before the Rangers game on Thursday night.
His actions are thought to have surprised those inside Old Trafford as Amorim tends not to speak to his players in great length at full-time - win, lose or draw. Instead, he prefers to wait until the following day to go through the match with his squad when the emotions after the match have calmed.

The revelation comes after Amorim spoke in his harshest words yet about the current squad at Old Trafford. "In [the past] 10 games in Premier League, we won two," he told the media.
"Imagine what this is for a fan of Manchester United. Imagine what this is for me.
"We are getting a new coach who is losing more than the last coach. I have full knowledge of that.
"We are the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United. I know you [the media] want headlines but I am saying that because we have to acknowledge that and to change that. Here you go: Your headlines."
As mentioned, United will be returning to action on Thursday night when they host Rangers in the Europa League. Their next game in the Premier League comes on Sunday evening when United travel to Fulham.
