Gabby Logan bursts with pride as son makes Six Nations debut on 'wonderful' weekend
Gabby Logan was left bursting with pride as her son Reuben made his debut for Scotland in the U20 Six Nations.
The 19-year-old flanker switched allegiances from England ahead of the tournament to follow in the footsteps of his dad Kenny, who played 70 times for Scotland. Reuben, who plays for Northampton Saints, had previously turned out for England U18s, while he was included England's U20s Elite Player Squad earlier this season.
Thanks to his mum's side of the family, he could have also chosen to represent Wales but he has thrown his lot in with the Scots and made his first appearance for them on Friday night as they faced Italy at the Hive Stadium on Edinburgh.

While he couldn't help his side to victory - with the hosts on the wrong side of a 10-22 scoreline - it was a proud moment for the youngster and his famous family watching from the stands.
New Match of the Day host Gabby was joined by Kenny and Reuben's twin sister Lois for the special night and posted a heartwarming family photo of them all together at the full-time whistle.
However, the presenter was also in the Scottish capital for work, as she fronted the BBC's coverage of the Six Nations clash between Scotland and Italy at Murrayfield the following day. This time, the home side had more luck as they ran out 31-19 winners to finish the opening weekend of the tournament second in the table.
Sharing a selection of photos from the eventful weekend on Instagram, Gabby said it had been "a wonderful 24 hours in Edinburgh," before adding: "A big family turn out to watch @reuben_logan make his U20 debut (very proud).
"Then on to the even bigger lads @6nationsrugby for Scotland’s opening win v Italy with @bbcsport. Always a joy to spend time with this team."
After making the switch from England to Scotland last month, Reuben admitted his dad was delighted with the news, having "pretended to be happy" while watching his son wear the Red Rose previously.
“He's pretty happy, I think," the teenager told reporters. "He pretended when I was with England that he was happy with it, but he really wasn't, and he's made that very clear now. He struggled with it, and I think he's, yeah, he's very, very happy.”
As for his mum's reaction, he added: “I think she was just as emotional as my dad, because, obviously, she's seen my dad wear that shirt.”
