Gary Neville disagrees with Jamie Carragher as Alejandro Garnacho Man Utd transfer gets green light
The regular Stick to Football panel has reconvened to discuss a whirlwind week in English football - with Alejandro Garncho's future at Manchester United a hot topic.
In their first sit-down of the year, United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher discussed Garnacho's situation. The winger is being linked with a January transfer to Napoli.
Antonio Conte's side are reported to have bid in the region of £40m for the 20-year-old who has been out of favour at Old Trafford as of late - though United are expected to value him closer to £70m. Head coach Ruben Amorim may have to sell the club’s talented young players to avoid breaching the league’s profit and sustainability rules (PSR) - with names such as Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and the more experienced academy product, Marcus Rashford potentially set to depart.

Speaking ahead of the Premier League clash against Southampton, the Portuguese boss reaffirmed his desire for Garnacho to remain in Manchester. Asked whether Garnacho has a future at the club, Amorim said: "That is clear. He has talent.
"He's finding the best way to play in this system. He's improving during training. He started the last game."
Garnacho was discussed on the latest episode of Stick to Football, with ex-Old Trafford captain Keane asking: "Why shouldn’t you sell if you get a good offer?"
Neville responded: “But would you sell Mainoo and Garnacho, though? Obviously, Rashford looks like he’s fallen out with the manager."
Carrager gave his verdict, saying: "I think if you got good money for Garnacho [I’d sell him] - Mainoo you’ve got to keep," Carragher said. "Garnacho has AC Milan vibes," Ian Wright added, before Neville relayed "I think Napoli have bid 38 or 40 million [euros]."
Neville then warned: "I didn’t like it when Chelsea started selling their academy players. I certainly don’t like the idea of United having to sell players in the first team [like Garnacho and Mainoo]."
Napoli chiefs have issued the green light to sanction a move for Garnacho as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is leaving the club. The Georgia winger is set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
