Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has demanded that Sky Sports show more of one team between now and the end of the season.

Neville was on co-commentary duty alongside Peter Drury on Sunday evening as Spurs hosted Liverpool in the Premier League. The league leaders went into the break 3-1 to the good thanks to goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Liverpool raced into a 5-1 advantage by the hour mark thanks to Mohamed Salah's brace but Spurs rallied with 20 minutes remaining as Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke both scored to narrow the scoreline to 5-3. However, Diaz's second with five minutes to go made it 6-3 and sealed the victory for the Reds.

It was a breathless game that stressed the home fans once again but as the game was winding down, Neville sent a clear message to Sky's game selectors. "We need to keep putting Spurs on at 4:30," the former defender told Drury.

The 4:30pm time slot is seen as the most lucrative for Sky Sports as it is the main event of their Super Sunday coverage. Not only that, but this kick off time often sees Neville and Drury up in the gantry talking viewers through the game.

Neville was on commentary duty Thursday night for another thrilling match as Spurs were on the right side of a seven-goal thriller against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup. Tottenham's victory set up a two-legged semi-final against Liverpool in the New Year.

Both of those matches will be live on Sky Sports with the first leg on the week commencing January 6 and the return leg on the week commencing February 3.
