Manchester United showed resilience and fight to come away from Anfield with a point against Liverpool. Ruben Amorim's men proved their critics wrong with a spirited performance on Merseyside.

Lisandro Martinez put United ahead in the second-half with a well-worked team goal. However, the league leaders responded with two quickfire goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah.

Amad rescued a point for United late on with a neat finish from Alejandro Garnacho's low cross. Amorim's men were inches away from grabbing a first win at Anfield in nine years when Harry Maguire blazed over.

As comes with every time United and Liverpool meet, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were in fine form on Sky Sports. In a video released on Sky Sports' social media channels, the pair's reactions to the four goals were made public.

After celebrating Martinez's opener rather muted in the Anfield gantry, Neville was more vocal in his celebration of Amad's equaliser. The former United right-back could be heard cheering on live television before shouting 'Get in' and appearing to swear.

The video posted on social media blurred out Neville's mouth as he shouted something before taking his seat. His excitement then turned into agony when Maguire failed to score from close distance.

After the defending put his effort over Alisson's goal, Neville slumped back down into his seat while Carragher and Peter Drury attempted to explain the situation.
