Germany's stunning last-second handball goal forced overtime in an unreal Olympic win over France
Handball is such an awesome sport, and we saw some serious drama on Wednesday in the men's quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
With a few seconds remaining and France up one, Germany intercepted a pass and Renars Uscins scored to tie it up. Then, in overtime, Germany scored the game-winner and their goaltender blocked the final attempt to tie it up, sending their team to the semifinals in seriously dramatic fashion.
You don't even have to know the rules of handball to appreciate this. Just watch the drama unfold both in regulation and overtime. This whole thing is just plain nuts:
