Welcome back! Previously on GBU, Pat McAfee's return was announced, Matt Cardona got a pop, and the New Day made enemies of everyone.

This week, with WWE's Saturday Night Main Event around the corner, we have plenty to talk about. From 200-day title reigns to Continental Classic things to deactivated Twitter accounts, we have an appetizer sampler of good, bad and ugly to analyze, scrutinize and start dialogues over.

Without further ado, let's get into it.

Rhea Ripley cooking this played out joke

"Just put the fries in the bag" currently sits atop my Overused, Unfunny Response Rankings™. It's in every comment section and among the replies to every tweet, a beacon of the uncreative mind.

I'm glad Rhea made a valuable point, which is that a joke about someone ... *checks notes* ... having a job, is pretty dumb.

With that said...

Drew McIntyre's tweet showing an AI of Sami Zayn as an Uber Eats driver

Completely contradicting everything said above, I found this hilarious.

But that's just because of the aesthetic element, and soon, with all the AI images of wrestlers in fast food uniforms being thrown around, this bit will also inevitably be played out.

Liv Morgan's reign continues

While a recent reign ended rather quickly, Liv's is going strong.

Yes, she's in danger when she clashes with Iyo Sky on Saturday, but if she can CTRL the damage (heh) and retain, what's stopping Morgan from a significantly longer stretch that extends well into 2025? (Please don't say Rhea, they each need fresh feuds before this turns into Cena vs. Orton in the 2010s.)

Heel New Day's reaction

Excellent stuff here, New Day. They've taken a decade of positive vibes and said to hell with that.

One brief segment, during which they bashed the beloved Big E, and these guys can't get a single syllable out without an overwhelming rush of boos overtaking them. This is god-tier heat and my only hope is Woods and Kofi do their part to douse gasoline onto the fire and keep this thing burning.

A Rhea Ripley versus Iyo Sky tease

Yes, absolutely. This moment radiates post-credits Marvel scene energy because they didn't show this to us for no reason. It's most certainly a glimpse of something coming.

This stellar work from the Los Angeles Rams social team

Stellar work. No notes.

WWE accolades and stats

I am once again giving praise to something WWE has been doing with more frequency lately — sharing statistics and accomplishments of superstars ahead of matches.

We're living in a modern sports era that's so zealous for analytics (so-and-so has completed 80 percent of his passes in primetime games on the road, what's-his-name hasn't missed a 3-pointer on a Tuesday in 10 weeks, etc.), I'm glad to see the WWE showcasing résumés and offering fascinating details by the numbers, so I'll shout it out when I see it until it's simply a norm in every show.

Logan Paul retiring from rasslin'

First of all, I don't believe him at all.

But let's just say he has wrestled his last match, I 'spose that's a bit of a bummer because he has been fun to watch.

A(ttempted murder)EW Things

I enjoy edgy content and taking things to the extreme as much as the next guy, but every so often professional wrestling takes things to a place that feels silly. Whether it's the Val Venis [redacted] segment or the Vince limo explosion, sometimes an act is so blatantly violent/deadly that it could be dialed back a bit.

In this case, Moxley preparing to force-feed Orange Cassidy cleaning products falls under that category.

Shout out to FTR for saving poison control a frantic phone call. Maybe next time Moxley can just, like, hit Cassidy with a chair a few times or DDT the sh*t out of him, but I won't be surprised when he tries to tie him to train tracks or drop an anvil on his head.

Adam Hangman Page's response to Logan Paul's retirement announcement

There's clear video evidence that Paul has, at the very least, been inspired by Page's arsenal of moves.

Above you'll see a very obvious reference/diss to the news of Paul's "retirement," which might seem rude but I think Adam Page has done Paul a favor by potentially altering the longstanding results for the search terms "Logan Paul" and "Hang man."

At any rate, as unpredictable as wrestling is, I wouldn't be shocked if one day Paul and Page find themselves in the same company, where they can face off and mimic each other's exact movements like that one scene in "Annihilation."

Darby Allin things

Hey, man, maybe relax? You don't have to double dog dare your bones to break every single time you're out there, I promise.

Ricochet's promo reactions

For the record, I don't think Ricochet's promos are that bad. But even if he's not the smoothest talker, growing pains are necessary, right? I mean, we've seen a man go from saying "sufferin' succotash son" to delivering the iconic "tired of being humble" rant. The ugly part here is the replies to this tweet, and any tweet involving a Ricochet promo. Fans are cutthroat and impatient, trashing the man for speaking (though at least they're doing so more creatively than "put the fries in the bag").

Until next time — put the fries good, bad and ugly things you've witnessed in the bag comment section.
