GREENOCK WANDERERS have all the odds stacked against them this weekend as they look to resume their fight against relegation from National Divison Four.

Weather permitting, the Fort Matilda side hope to make the very long trip north to Elgin for their return league match against Highland based Moray RFC.

The initial match between the two sides was a similar story that has been told for much of the Wanderers season.

The Greenock side lost out by some margin in a 31-0 loss at Fort Matilda, in what was a sorry afternoon for the first team.

This trip was always going to be a big ask for Wanderers, even more after the defeat last week at home to Strathmore.

Couple that with accounting for a number of injuries and unavailability to travel due to family and work commitments, It is expected it will be a very different side from last week's loss without the experienced quartet of players.

Despite this though, Wanderers will be determined to give a good account of themselves after last weeks improved performance.

The Under 18s will make the long trip to Argyll, where they'll face Oban at 2pm.

And on Sunday, the minis will get things started when they travel to face Ayr at 10.15am. Following on from that the Micros will train at Clydeview from 11-12.

The under-13 and under-14 sides will make the trip to Glasgow to face GHK, with the 14s kicking off at midday, with their younger colleagues kicking off an hour later.
