Hamza Igamane Rangers form reaches France World Cup winner as compilation leaves him gushing
Hamza Igamane's goalscoring exploits have already cemented himself as a favourite with Rangers fans - but the Moroccan forward has now earned a raving review from a former World Cup winner.
The 22-year-old initially took some time to get up to speed at Ibrox after making the move from FAR Rabat last summer but has netted seven goals in his last matches (including a hat trick against Hibs), taking his tally to 13 strikes in 25 appearances in all competitions. Igamane has reportedly caught the eye of Premier League side Everton and is in line to earn a call-up to the Moroccan senior national team for the first time in the next international.
And the pacey frontman's red-hot form has now attracted the attention of former defender Adil Rami, who was a part of the France side that won the World Cup in Russia in 2018. Since retiring in 2023, Rami - who played for several top clubs including AC Milan, Marseille, Sevilla and Lille - regularly hosts sessions on the live-streaming platform Twitch. And he was left in awe after watching a compilation video of Igamane's displays for Rangers.

He said: "His control is incredible. Damn, he has a quality of passing, a technique, he hits the ball hard, and has has grinta (determination). He is aggressive with the ball at his feet. As soon as he controls, he wants to kill the defenders."
