Harvey Elliott makes Liverpool feelings clear as Federico Chiesa sends message
Federico Chiesa sent a message to supporters after scoring his first Liverpool goal in the Reds’ FA Cup third round win over Accrington Stanley. The Italian joined the Reds for an initial £10m fee from Juventus last summer.
The forward has been limited to just five appearances because of injury and illness as he took his time to adjust the intensity of English football.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a Liverpool exit as a result, with speculation continuing to tip him for a premature return to Serie A. However, his agent recently denied that Chiesa would be moving on in January, insisting that he would at least see out the season with the Reds.

Introduced as a half-time substitute against Accrington after overcoming illness, the Italy international impressed against the League Two outfit as he opened his account for the club.
And after scoring his first Liverpool goal, Chiesa took to social media to mark the occasion. Posting a picture of his celebration on Instagram, he wrote ‘YNWA’ with a red heart emoji as the accompanying caption.
The Italian is not the only Reds player to have been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent weeks, with reports claiming that a number of sides were monitoring Harvey Elliott’s situation.
Having missed two months with a fractured foot, the midfielder has found his game-time limited under Arne Slot so far this season. The midfielder made only his second start of the campaign against Accrington.
Reports last week suggested he had attracted interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Brighton & Hove Albion.
After the 4-0 victory over Accrington, Elliott was the last player to leave the pitch as he applauded supporters. And posting a picture of him sharing his appreciation for club’s fans as his Instagram Story, he also posted two heart emojis.
He would also share a number of pictures from the game as an Instagram post, which he again accompanied with a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Rio Ngumoha also took to Instagram as he shared his pride at making his Liverpool debut. The 16-year-old became the youngest player to ever start for the Reds as he made an eye-catching maiden appearance against Accrington.
He wrote: “Delighted to make my debut for Liverpool and a great win. #YNWA.”
