Hearts transfer headlines as Harry Milne has medical, Jambos prodigy goes other way and marquee winger on radar
Harry Milne is undergoing a medical at Hearts this morning ahead of completing a move from Partick Thistle.
And Jambos youngster Ethan Drysdale is set to head in the opposite direction to Maryhill on loan for the remainder of the season. Hearts had a five-figure offer for Milne accepted on Sunday - with the Drysdale loan built in - having failed with an earlier bid for the left back.
Milne is now heading through to Edinburgh to undergo a medical and complete the formalities on a switch. The 28-year-old has made 105 appearances for the Jags since moving from Cove Rangers three years ago. He will provide competition for James Penrice at left-back. Drysdale meanwhile has just returned to action having suffered an injury in pre-season against Leyton Orient. Hearts have high hopes for the left back but believe a spell on loan in the Championship will benefit the 19-year-old.

Milne will become Hearts fifth signing of the window after the arrivals of Jamie McCart, Elton Kabangu, Michael Steinwender and Sander Kartum. But Neil Critchley could yet add another before tonight’s deadline with another winger on his wanted list. Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong and Kazakhstan international Islam Chesnokov are both on the radar.
