Hoffenheim vs Tottenham simulated to predict huge Europa League clash
After tasting defeat again on the weekend, Spurs will be looking to bounce back and pick up a vital three points against Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
A 3-2 defeat to Everton in their last outing saw Spurs drop to 15th in the Premier League table, with Ange Postecoglou's side having won just two of their last eight games across all competitions. In fact, Spurs' last three victories have all come in cup competitions, and the Lilywhites will be hoping for another cup victory when they travel to Germany in the Europa League later today.
It's been six weeks since Spurs' last Europa League clash, where Postecoglou's side drew 1-1 against Rangers. Spurs are currently ninth in the Europa League League Phase, so a win against 26th-place Hoffenheim would hand them a big boost towards automatic qualification to the knockout stages.

We simulated Hoffenheim vs Spurs to get a score prediction
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that the German side could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Baumann; Gendrey, Chaves, Akpuguma, Prass; Grillitsch, Bischof; Hlozek, Kramaric, Moerstedt; Berisha.
We predict that Spurs could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Austin; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Gray; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Kulusevski, Richarlison, Moore.
Hoffenheim took full advantage of Spurs' defensive fragility in a whirlwind opening 20 minutes in Germany, with the hosts racing into a two-goal lead, giving Postecoglou's side an extremely tough challenge early on. The first goal came after just nine minutes when a long clearance from goalkeeper Oliver Baumann caught out Spurs' high line, allowing Mergim Berisha to go one-on-one with Austin and fire home.
Not long after, Hoffenheim grabbed a second, with Andrej Kramaric beating Radu Dragusin to enter the box and fire home from the left. The early goals seemed to give Spurs a burst of life, with the Lilywhites suddenly controlling the game.
Mikey Moore was a bright spark for Spurs on the left and he almost pulled a goal back just before half-time, but after cutting inside, his dragged shot rattled the post, with the 'keeper stranded to the spot. A positive start to the second half gave Postecoglou's side more encouragement, and 57 minutes in, Spurs finally got on the scoresheet.
A great run from Dejan Kulusevski saw the Swede beat three defenders on the right before picking out Richarlison in a crowd of bodies just outside the box. The Brazilian dragged the ball into space and fired towards goal, and his powerful strike beat the 'keeper, making it 2-1.
Unfortunately for Postecoglou, his side was unable to find a second as they fell to defeat in Germany.
