Huge Marcus Rashford Man United decision made amid Arsenal January transfer plans
Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford is expected to be part of their squad to take on Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday night.
Our colleagues at the Manchester Evening News are reporting that Rashford arrived at Old Trafford around 4:30pm with his boot bag ahead of the Premier League fixture. While it is not clear if Rashford will be recalled to the starting XI of the side that have lost three-in-a-row, there appears to be a strong chance that he will at least be on the bench.
The winger has not been part of a matchday squad since the Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen on December 12. After that match, where he was booed by his own supporters, Rashford was dropped out of the squad for the Manchester derby.

A couple of days later, an interview with Henry Winter was published where Rashford expressed his desire for a new chapter away from Old Trafford. This appeared not to help his case for a recall to the squad as he went on to miss the games against Tottenham Hotspur, AFC Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Talk of Rashford's exit has sparked rumours that a move to Arsenal could be an option for the Carrington alumni. Rashford has previously been linked with the Gunners to strengthen their attack.
Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams is thought to be on the radar for Arsenal and considering Rashford occupies the same position, he could well be an alternative for Mikel Arteta. United head coach Ruben Amorim has stressed that he would be open to the winger remaining at Old Trafford.
