Hull City boss Ruben Selles sends transfer window warning ahead of deadline day
Hull City head coach Ruben Selles admits he's aware of the potential problem facing him if the Tigers snap up a late deadline day signing on Monday.
City have so far signed seven players since the window opened on January 1 but have used all five of their allocated loan spots in the matchday squad, despite seeing Carl Rushworth return to Brighton and Hove Albion and Chris Bedia's loan move from Union Berlin end.
The Tigers already have Fin Burns (Manchester City), Gustavo Puerta (Bayer Leverkusen), Lincoln (Fenerbahce), Joe Gelhardt (Leeds United) and now Louie Barry (Aston Villa) in their ranks for the remaining 16 games of the season.

Signing any more players on loan before the 11pm deadline on Monday evening would mean somebody is left out of the squad altogether, something the Tigers head coach is keen to avoid, if possible unless there is a player they cannot resist.
That said, City are understood to be working on another deal, which would be a loan move until the end of the current campaign, with Selles admitting if something 'exceptional' was to come up, then it would have to be considered, and that's what the club are understood to be considering.
"Yes (have to be careful), because the rule is that you can have only five in the squad, so that's what we try to always do," Selles said about adding more loan players.
"Unless it's an extreme case where you see that, yes, he can make an immediate impact for us. Remember that the season ends in three months. It's less than one hundred days, I think, right now, so it's not a big period.
"For us, the (to make the) difference between those loans is just to have (no) more than five. To have around seven, for example, just means that no matter the quality of the player, there's going to be two out of the squad, and if we can avoid that one, we should avoid that, but sometimes you need to leave (space) because it's some exceptional situations."
