Hull City head coach Ruben Selles will be forced into making at least one change for Friday night's Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United with goalkeeper Carl Rushworth back at Brighton and Hove Albion after being recalled on Wednesday.

Ivor Pandur will reclaim the number one shirt, having been dropped to the bench in the last three games, with Rushworth making his long-awaited debut in the FA Cup against Doncaster Rovers and then keeping his place in the 1-0 win at Millwall and then again in the defeat to QPR on Tuesday.

Thimothee Lo-Tutala will take his place on the bench as the back-up stopper, with Anthony Racioppi still not involved in Selles' first-team plans at City.

Lewie Coyle remains unavailable through injury but Abu Kamara is back and Selles' squad will be boosted by the arrivals of Kyle Joseph and Lincoln, while Eliot Matazo is likely to be on the bench.

Having played on Tuesday night, Selles may well look to freshen things up at the end of a week which has seen them travel to South London, and face QPR in East Yorkshire on Tuesday evening. Joao Pedro looked leggy at times on Tuesday night and the City boss could look to thrust Joseph straight into the fold at Bramall Lane in the hope he and Joe Gelhardt can rekindle the relationship they had at Wigan Athletic.

Harry Vaughan showed plenty of promise in the first half on Tuesday but faded in the second before coming off, and Kamara's return to fitness could see him return and Vaughan back to the bench.

Selles also faces a dilemma at the back with Matty Jacob pushing for a return to the starting line-up, having seen Sean McLoughlin play at left-back in the last two games, with Fin Burns operating in the middle alongside Alfie Jones and Cody Drameh playing on the right in the absence of skipper Coyle.

City's predicted starting XI: Pandur, Jacob, Burns, Jones, Drameh, Alzate, Slater, Puerta, Gelhardt, Kamara, Pedro.
