Hull City transfer news as striker opts to join Swiss club after poor season
Striker Chris Bedia has decided to join Swiss club Young Boys after agreeing to cut short his loan spell at Hull City following a disappointing start to the season.
Bedia arrived on August 22 after the Tigers agreed a season-long loan deal with German Bundesliga side Union Berlin. He had the option to make it permanent this summer, but will now leave the MKM Stadium after opting to join Anthony Racioppi's former club having had a host of other options.
The Ivory Coast striker was City's 10th signing of a frantic end to the summer window but has managed just three goals in 21 appearances since pulling on the Black and Amber shirt and has fallen out of favour under Ruben Selles, who wants more mobile players in the top third of the pitch.

His first goal came in the 4-1 win at home to Cardiff City and he followed that up by bagging another three days later in the 3-1 success away to QPR, with his last coming in Selles' first match in charge against Watford in a game which finished 1-1.
The 28-year-old has been left out of Selles' last four Championship squads, with his most recent outing coming against Middlesbrough on New Year's Day when he came on for the final 20 minutes as City fell to a narrow 1-0 home defeat.
Boss Selles made it clear to Bedia that he wasn't in his plans, with Joao Pedro leading the line under the Spaniard and the club bringing in Joe Gelhardt and Kyle Joseph while having academy striker Tyrell Sellars Fleming on the fringes of the first-team fold.
