Hull FC name four new signings in young squad to take on York Acorn
John Cartwright has named his Hull FC 21-man squad for Saturday's Challenge Cup tie against York Acorn. The Black and Whites take on the National Conference League opponent at Featherstone's Millenium Stadium, with a young-looking side set to play alongside four new signings.
In line for his Hull debut, vice-captain John Asiata is included alongside three more new recruits in Cade Cust, Oliver Holmes, and Hugo Salabio. Elsewhere, as many as six young players could make their first-team debuts, with three players capable of playing in the spine, Will Hutchinson, Lloyd Kemp, and Ben Johnson, joined by winger Joe Ward, prop Owen Haldenby, and back-row forward Lennon Clark. Ryan Westerman and Will Kirby are also named having both debuted last season.
On a more senior front, Yusuf Aydin is in line for his first game of 2025 after missing last week's pre-season game to suspension. The likes of Jack Ashworth and Brad Fash are also included.
