MORTON favourite Iain Wilson says it'll be strange not playing in front of a packed Cowshed when his side to into battle against Airdrieonians this weekend.

But he admits things could have been a lot worse if the Greenock side weren't able to play their games at Cappielow after damage sustained in winds brought by Storm Eowyn.

He said that's just the tip of a mounting pile of frustrations from within the Ton camp after being unable to carry on their good run of form into 2025, having only played in two out of a possible six 2025 matchdays.

He told the Tele: "It's been a bit stop start with the postponements and then the free weekend, but it's been ages since we've had a game at home, so we're looking forward to it and the three games we've got coming up.

"It is going to be a bit strange seeing the Cowshed empty for the next few games with the work needing done on the stand.

"I suppose it'll be a bit unusual but we're just glad that we can still play games here because it could've been worse.

"It's been frustrating to be idle as much as we have, through no fault of our own, particularly because we've been playing so well.

"But we've certainly got enough coming up to make up for that. It's a crazy run that we've got to come, but there's nothing we can do about it.

"Our home form has been good but we just need to try out best to keep this unbeaten run going."
