Ibrahima Konate absence now clear as five Liverpool players give Arne Slot boost
Halfway through the season and, one Forest-sized blip aside, Liverpool supporters have had little reason to complain about the ongoing progress of the Arne Slot era. The Reds stand eight points clear at the Premier League summit while top of the Champions League table and reaching the semi-finals of the League Cup.
Not all players, though, have impressed quite as much as others, with the difficulties of some squad members adjusting to new roles and methods having been apparent.
The ECHO has rated Liverpool's squad throughout the 27 games they have played in all competitions this season, marking them out of 10 for every appearance in which they played for at least 15 minutes.

The men who have impressed
It will be to the surprise of nobody that Mohamed Salah (average rating 7.50) is leading the rankings given the phenomenal form the Egyptian has shown, particularly during the last six weeks. Twenty goals and 17 assists in 26 appearances tells its own story.
Ibrahima Konate (7.29) was another to hugely impress before being sidelined by injury, with his imminent return timely given fitness issues elsewhere in the defence. Ryan Gravenberch (7.25), meanwhile, continues to be a stellar performer having shifted into a defensive midfield role, his poor display at Newcastle United a notable outlier.
Caoimhin Kelleher (7.15) proved himself a more than capable deputy between the sticks when Alisson Becker was sidelined and Cody Gakpo (7.00) has worked his way into becoming a regular on the left thanks to a succession of important goals.
Best of the rest
Virgil van Dijk (6.96) continues to prove the bedrock of the defence with his display in the win against Manchester City a high mark. Luis Diaz (6.96) shrugged off an underwhelming period in early autumn and has again found his goalscoring touch, and Curtis Jones (6.90) is adding more goals and assists to his game.
Alisson Becker (6.85) has been steady enough since returning from the hamstring problem that kept him out for several months while a similar issue for Joe Gomez (6.79) is particularly poor timing give the defender had just started to find his groove at centre-back.
Diogo Jota (6.73) is another to have had a lengthy spell on the sidelines but is already back among the goals and Dominik Szoboszlai (6.70) has been excellent since returning from the international break.
Alexis Mac Allister (6.68) appears to have come through a tricky spell of his own as another player to have embraced the new-look midfield under Slot, although Trent Alexander-Arnold (6.66) has been a little inconsistent of late while arguably reaching some greater highs than earlier in the campaign.
Must do better
Darwin Nunez (6.43) has been doing a job for the team while leading the line even if it has come at the expense of goals and his confidence appears to have been affected as a consequence.
Andy Robertson (6.27) has struggled in some games - not least his early red card against Fulham - but has been impressive going forward in recent weeks, while Kostas Tsimikas (6.18) is still seeking full fitness having been hampered by an absence.
Of those who haven't quite played enough games so far this season to be included in the rankings, Conor Bradley (6.80) has regularly impressed, Wataru Endo (6.60) has been steady in his cameos, Harvey Elliott (6.50) is still working towards sharpness after a lengthy injury absence and Jarell Quansah (6.25) has gradually improved.
