Ineos make Paul Pogba decision with former Man United star seeking new club ahead of return
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is looking for a club to make his return to football, however that club will definitely not be fellow Ineos-owned OGC Nice.
Pogba's plight after leaving Old Trafford for the second time has been well documented. The 31-year-old has not kicked a ball professionally since the 2022/23 campaign, as he was placed under a ban from the sport for doping allegations. He always denied the use of banned substances was intentional, and later the suspension was reduced until next March.
The ex-Man United star has been working towards a return by building up his fitness. The only issue is Pogba is currently without a club, having been cut loose by Juventus in the wake of his return.

With it reported the Frenchman wants to play at a high level once again, there has been outside discussion about a return to Man United. Ineos will have a final say on that, as they have now done at the other club they own - Nice.
"To be completely honest, I don’t think we have the possibility to bring Pogba to Nice today," their sporting director Florian Maurice told L’Équipe, though he would hint this decision might not actually be down to desire, but the availability of finances.
After Ineos acquired a share of Man United, their focus and finances for the Ligue 1 side has been diverted.
Maurice added: "I think that lots of clubs will be looking into this deal, even if it’s been quite a while since he has played. I think there will be a lot of competition and I don’t think that we are able to fight to bring such a player to OGC Nice."
