Inigo Calderon issues message to Bristol Rovers players ahead of 'great challenge' at Shrewsbury
Inigo Calderon has confessed that he is "more than happy" to have another huge game in quick succession as Bristol Rovers travel to bottom club Shrewsbury Town tomorrow night, labelling the game as "a great challenge."
The trip to Shropshire comes just three days after a damaging 3-2 defeat at home to Rotherham United on Saturday in which Rovers conceded in the 92nd minute to lose what, in hindsight, would have been a respectable point.
After taking the lead in the fifth minute thanks to Ruel Sotiriou's third goal in five home matches, the Gas failed to maintain their early dominance as Rotherham scored either side of half-time to take the lead.

However, Sil Swinkels' 72nd minute equaliser looked to have salvaged at least a point for Rovers on a rare off day at home before Sam Nombe capitalised on a poorly defended free-kick in added time to secure victory for the visitors.
That defeat saw the Gas' advantage over the bottom four reduce to just two points after Burton Albion drew 1-1 at home to Mansfield Town ahead of a crucial game against fellow relegation battlers Shrewsbury.
"Obviously the good thing is we have [a game] on Tuesday and it's a great challenge especially because we have been quite bad away from home," Calderon confessed. "So I'm more than happy have the game on Tuesday.
"You don't need to think too much. We have to make sure we recover well and we go again because I said to the boys that, for me, this is a marathon. It's not going to change if you win or lose today. Obviously, it's important but it's not the end of the world.
"It's a marathon. You have to keep calm in terms of don't get crazy but, at the same time, you have to understand that we are in a relegation [battle] and it's going to be a matter of everyone together and obviously doing things better than that. But it's a long one."
Rovers have the worst record away from home in League One with just 10 points to their name over the course of the campaign so far and are currently on a four-game losing streak on the road.
To their benefit, the Gas will play more games at home than away in their final 13 outings of the season but let a major opportunity to add points to their current total of 35 slip over the weekend.
That marked a third consecutive defeat following losses at Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town the week prior and a fourth loss in a row could see Rovers drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season on Tuesday night, depending on results elsewhere while also giving another struggler an advantage in the battle for survival.
Burton Albion travel to automatic promotion chasers Wycombe Wanderers while Crawley Town visit Lincoln City and Cambridge United host Stevenage.
Regarding teams currently above the Gas, Exeter City head to Reading, Northampton host Stockport County, Peterborough travel to Blackpool while Mansfield Town and Wigan Athletic, who are both on 39 points, clash at the One Call Stadium.
