Rajasthan Royals are set to play their first game on September 21 at Dubai International Stadium. During the UAE leg, RR is slated to play a total of 7 games during the group stage.

Sanju Samson was appointed as the team’s skipper in the 2021 season. RR played 7 matches during the first leg of IPL 2021. They won 3 games and lost 4. While Jofra Archer will not be available due to an injury, Buttler and Stokes have opted out of the tournament due to personal reasons.

Oshane Thomas and Evin Lewis have replaced Buttler and Stokes in the RR squad. Andrew Tye, who had left the IPL 2021 midway during the first leg, will be replaced by Tabraiz Shamsi in UAE leg.
