Isle of Wight netball is in full force as the new Island Netball League gathers pace.

The new competitive league is halfway through its first round of matches, played across four courts.

Thunder currently leads the table, with Gurnard close behind. Players from different teams are showing individual brilliance and gaining confidence.

A spokesperson for the Island Netball League said: "While the Island Netball League is still in its early stages, it's evident that netball holds a special place in the hearts of many on the Island.

"It's wonderful to see the seeds being sown for a thriving new league."
