Israel Adesanya's next fight is finally on the books.

The former two-time UFC champion is set to return Feb. 1 in a five-round non-title bout against top middleweight contender Nassourdine Imavov at a UFC Fight Night event at ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. UFC CEO Dana White announced the matchup Saturday morning ahead of UFC Tampa.

In addition, White announced a middleweight co-main event for the card between longtime Bellator standout Michael Page and undefeated prospect Shara Magomedov.

Adesanya's fight against Imavov represents his first non-title bout since his 2019 battle against Anderson Silva — a span that covers 12 consecutive UFC appearances.

One of the most decorated middleweights in UFC history, Adesanya (24-4) defended the 185-pound title five times over his first reign from 2020-22. He then recaptured the title with a revenge knockout of Alex Pereira in 2023 after dropping the belt to the Brazilian in their first MMA encounter at UFC 281. Adesanya's dramatic finish of Pereira at UFC 287 captured many Knockout of the Year plaudits for 2023.

Since then, Adesanya, 35, has lost back-to-back title bouts, dropping a stunner at the hands of Sean Strickland before suffering a fourth-round submission loss to Dricus du Plessis in August.

Next up for the ex-champ is Imavov (15-4, 1 NC), who's ridden three consecutive wins over contenders Roman Dolidze, Jared Cannonier and Brendan Allen to the precipice of a potential title shot. A 29-year-old Frenchman originally hailing from Russia, Imavov has won seven of his 10 UFC appearances, also beating the likes of Joaquin Buckley and Edmen Shahbazyan while notably losing to Strickland.

In the co-main event, Page (22-3) gets what he asked for after calling out Magomedov following the Russian's highlight-reel win over Armen Petrosyan at UFC 308 in October. A longtime welterweight who now moves up to middleweight, Page, 37, has split his two UFC appearances since signing with the organization in late 2023, beating Kevin Holland but losing a decision to Ian Machado Garry.

Magomedov (15-0) looks to continue his hot streak after kicking off his UFC run with four straight wins, two of which ended in bonus-winning knockouts. A 30-year-old fan-favorite, Magomedov scored an unreal double spinning backfist knockout against Petrosyan in his most recent appearance.
