Jürgen Klopp already gave Kylian Mbappé verdict as Liverpool transfer chances summed up
We already know that Kylian Mbappé will be dominating the headlines in the summer transfer window. The truth is though, a move to Real Madrid is probably a foregone conclusion.
Mbappé has confirmed he will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season. The 25-year-old made the announcement in a video released on his social media accounts.
"I’ve always said that I would speak with you when the time comes," Mbappé said. "It's my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I will not extend and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks."

Mbappé’s contract with PSG expires next month, and speculation of his departure has been rife for over a year after he came close to departing the club last summer. A move to Real Madrid looks to be in the offing, with the BBC reporting back in February that a deal had been agreed with the Spanish giants.
That hasn’t stopped speculation linking Mbappé with other clubs, including Liverpool. Despite not holding the same financial might as Los Blancos, the Reds have regularly featured in the conversation over the French international’s future.
Mbappé has spoken in the past in glowing terms of Liverpool, although a move to Anfield has never truly looked a possibility. Jürgen Klopp confirmed as much back in February when he was asked about the possibility, and admitted he couldn’t see much of a battle taking place for Mbappé’s signature.
“Obviously, I'm not involved in that, but I can tell you I'd be surprised if all the top clubs were [involved],” Klopp said. “The top clubs I know, for most of them it will be tricky. Wages, signing-on fee.”
That’s not the only time Klopp has seemingly ruled out Liverpool making a move for Mbappé. Back in August, the outgoing Reds boss said: “I can say that I think he's a really good player but the financial conditions don't suit us at all. I wouldn't like to ruin the story now, but as far as I know, there's nothing to it.
“It's possible that someone else from the club is preparing something and wants to surprise me. That hasn't happened in the eight years that I've been here. That would be the first time.”
Liverpool.com says: As much as every Liverpool fan would love to see Mbappé donning a red shirt, it’s just not going to happen. Given his wages at PSG, it would require a complete overhaul of the structure in place at Anfield, which might not be met too kindly by the players currently at the club.
A move to Real Madrid surely awaits. If Mbappé were to move anywhere else this summer, that would be the biggest shock in years.
