Jürgen Klopp opens up on Liverpool exit plans amid Wembley invitation - 'It really feels strange'
Jürgen Klopp has lifted the lid on his immediate plans after leaving Liverpool. Another trip to Wembley is in the offing, only this time it will be without the Reds.
Klopp will bring an end to his time in charge of Liverpool on Sunday. The German leads his side for the final time at Anfield against Wolves tomorrow, with fans getting one last chance to show their appreciation for the departing manager.
It’s certain to be an emotional occasion, adding to what Klopp has described as the “most intense week of my life”. The 56-year-old has already said his goodbyes to the players and staff ahead of tomorrow’s final outing.

Arne Slot will be taking over the reins, with the Feyenoord boss having confirmed he will be succeeding Klopp this summer. Not only that, but the Dutchman is also set to move into Klopp’s house.
The outgoing boss though won’t be heading back to Germany in a hurry. First, he’ll be watching his former side Borussia Dortmund in action in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
"I have got an invitation now for the Champions League final," Klopp told the ECHO. "They said, 'I don't think he will come', but of course I will come, it's the Champions League final and I have nothing to do really!
"But then I need more tickets too. It's the first time in my life I'm asking for tickets — normally it's me who is always being asked! It's a really strange feeling. I never did, I never have had to ask for tickets. Now I am asking it really feels strange.
"That's one thing, besides that we didn't plan anything (after he leaves Liverpool). At the Euros we will watch games and have tickets for a few games. Being in Germany for a long time, meeting friends, nothing spectacular. Just easy-going, not planning a pre-season, I will definitely not do that, and not being involved in any transfer talks, which is such a difference. I'm really looking forward to it."
Liverpool.com says: If anyone deserves to enjoy his time off, it’s Klopp. He has been a remarkable servant to Liverpool over the years, and he will undoubtedly get a rapturous reception from the fans at Anfield tomorrow.
And hopefully his old side can do the business for him before he heads back to Germany. Dortmund will be big underdogs in the final, but having already defied the odds to reach Wembley, you wouldn’t bet against them overcoming the final hurdle.
