Jack Grealish is 'wanted by two Champions League clubs' as speculation continues to grow over his Manchester City future. The 29-year-old, who joined City for a then British record transfer fee of £100million in August 2021, has started just six Premier League matches this season and scored only once in all competitions.

Pep Guardiola slammed Grealish's poor form earlier this month and admitted he must fight for his place in his side's starting line-up. "I want the Jack that won the treble," Guardiola said. "But I try to be honest with myself for that. What happened with Savinho's delivery in the box? It's higher than the other wingers in that position."

This has led to rumours that Grealish could leave City during the January transfer window. And, according to The Sun, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund are monitoring his situation. Former club Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also interested in signing the England international.

Grealish could be keen to leave the Etihad as he eyes a fresh start after a disappointing 18 months at City. Following a below-par first season in Manchester following his blockbuster move from Villa, Grealish impressed in the 2022/23 campaign and helped Guardiola's men win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

He was a key figure in the historic treble-winning City side, scoring five goals and adding 11 assists in 50 appearances. However, Grealish's form has dropped off since, having struggled to perform on a consistent in level. In fact, his goal against Salford City in the FA Cup last weekend was his first in a staggering 392 days.

It meant that Grealish failed to score throughout 2024 - previously finding the back of the net in a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace in December 2023. During his time at City, the ex-Notts County winger has scored 15 goals and notched 22 assists in 146 games, but could his time at the club now be coming to an end?

Grealish was a second-half substitute in City's 6-0 win over Ipswich Town on Sunday and could feature when they travel to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday. Guardiola could be asked about Grealish's future in his pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to the Parc des Princes.

While Grealish's future is uncertain, City are not messing about when it comes to bringing players in. Abdukodir Khusanov became City's first January arrival in a £33.8million deal from Lens on Monday, while Vitor Reis joined from Brazilian side Palmeiras for around £29.4m on Tuesday morning.

City are also in the final stages of concluding a £59m deal for Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian was not in the squad to face Dortmund on Friday but appeared on the pitch to say farewell to fans.

After City's disappointing first half of the season, they have committed to re-energising their squad with £250m worth of players set to arrive in the January transfer window according to the Mirror. It's a major statement of intent as City attempt to close the gap on their rivals at the top of the Premier League.

“We are going to try to do something right now when we were going to do it in the summer," Guardiola said.

“It has advanced a few months because of the situation. We would not be doing it (buying new players) if our players were fit but today I think we have two central defenders, no more than that, and with our holding midfielders we are struggling."
