Jadon Sancho sends clear message as Man United draw with Liverpool amid transfer agreement
Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho posted a celebratory picture with Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer as his parent club earned a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.
Ruben Amorim's side defied critics to put the Premier League leaders under pressure and dented their aspirations, denying the Anfield club the opportunity to move eight points clear. United were dogged and determined in their display, something that has been lacking in recent outings.
Lisandro Martinez sent the away end into raptures following the restart for the second-half, thumping home from close range. However, Liverpool offered resistance and sparked a turnaround with two goals in 11 minutes.

Alejandro Garnacho and Amad combined 10 minutes from time to level proceedings once more, while the backline and Amorim were on their haunches with the last kick of the game after Harry Maguire blazed over.
With his former teammates in action, Sancho shared a post to social media with Chelsea star Palmer - after the two combined for the Londoners during Saturday's draw with Crystal Palace. On Instagram, the 26-year-old tagged the England international with a handshake emoji along with a photo of the pair doing Palmer's celebration.
The Manchester Evening News understands that Chelsea have an obligation to buy the England winger if they finish 14th or higher in the Premier League.
Despite a recent downturn in form, which has saw Enzo Maresca's side drop points over the festive period against the likes of Everton, Fulham, Ipswich and Palace, they remain in the Champions League places with a one-point cushion over Newcastle United in fifth and two clear of Manchester City.
