Jayden Bogle is earning himself a new status at Leeds United after complete display vs Norwich
Daniel Farke's assessment of Jayden Bogle's form cannot be more complimentary. "I think, more or less, in the last 10 matches, he has been my player of the match," the Leeds United boss said after full-time against Norwich City.
He went on to elaborate about how Bogle's high performances are becoming so frequent that these current levels are his new norm. The right-back hardly put a foot wrong against Norwich on Wednesday.
This was in part due to the space he was given. The Canaries were severely weakened by the absence of eight injured players. Meanwhile, 16-goal striker Borja Sainz was suspended after being handed a six-match ban for admitting to spitting at an opponent in December.

And to rub salt into the wounds, new signing Matej Jurasek was not able to play, having yet to gain clearance to play for his new club. Johannes Hoff Thorup's side were poor and the Norwich boss admitted afterwards that his players are not on the same level as United's.
That should not detract from Bogle's output, though. The full-back constantly split the centre-half and left-back with forward through balls, having played one-touch with Brenden Aaronson in the lead up to the opening goal inside the first minute.
His attacking play is visually eye-catching but he is first and foremost a defender. He guarded his flank superbly and hardly let a Norwich player past him. The back line was, once again, very professional and kept a third straight clean sheet across all competitions.
To prove his great display wasn't solely due to poor pressing by his counterpart, Bogle took on the other Norwich full-back on the left and won a corner when he briefly swapped with Sam Byram following a set-piece. Quite simply, Bogle is making a good case for the status of being the Championship's best right-back.
Farke was glowing with praise for the 24-year-old in his post-match press conference. The Whites manager is always hesitant to comment on other clubs' players and so, respectfully, stopped short of calling Bogle the best right-back in the league.
However, his comments speak for themselves. "What he is delivering right now is unbelievable," said Farke. "Jayden is outstanding and the reason why we signed him. Top class character, by the way, and a great teammate.
"Great performances defensive-wise but also going forward, I'm pretty happy with him. I don't want to speak about other right-backs but for us he is a really important player. I'm really happy to have him and I really rate him."
Bogle mustered two shots on target, provided three crosses, tallied four tackles and made three clearances. It was a complete performance. It's hard to think of another player better in his position in the second tier right now on current form.
