Saragih on the fight's key moment
“I made (being an underdog) as a motivation. It’s not just about the (odds) or something like that. All my friends, most of my friends in the village, and my family, too – they don’t think about me. They doubt an Indonesian fighter can get a win in the UFC. But I don’t care about that. I just made it as a motivation for me.”
Saragih on winning for Indonesia
“I’m happy about my win, but this is a long journey for me. I lost my last fight. I learned from the mistake, then I had to do a long training camp, almost five months. I left all of my family, my friends in the village. I really miss them, but I needed a lot of effort to make my debut.”
Saragih on what he wants next
“Yeah. First of all, I just want to go home to see my family, my son and my parents first. If you ask about when I’m going to fight again, you can ask my manager or my coach.”
