Jeppe Okkels set to join Aberdeen on loan as Thelin reunites with Danish winger he once sold
Aberdeen are set to complete their first January signing with Danish winger Jeppe Okkels to join the Dons on loan.
The Reds have agreed to an initial loan for the season with an option to extend, and Okkels will now get the chance to reunite with his former manager Jimmy Thelin.
Both were at Elfsborg together before the forward was sold to Dutch outfit Utrecht in a £3million deal last year, before joining Preston North End in the summer.

The Dons are currently in the market for several other targets, including Kristers Tobers. Thelin is looking to strengthen his squad, which has failed to win in the last 10.
