Jeremiah Fears' gutsy 4-point play helped Oklahoma stay undefeated
Oklahoma freshman Jeremiah Fears really hit a logo 3-point shot (and a free throw) to keep the Sooners undefeated.
With just seconds to go, down three against Michigan, Fears took the ball from mid-court, accelerated towards the sideline, dribbled it once, and then stopped on a dime at the logo and let it fly. "Fears will let this one...GOT IT! He hit it! He hit it!" said one announcer in amazement as the shot went in. "You have got to be kidding me!" another broadcaster said trying to process what happened.
Fears also absorbed contact mid-play as he hit the triple. The foul sent him to the line, and he drained the free throw, creating a 4-point play and eventually sealing Oklahoma's win. Here's the moment that Fears hit the game-winner against Michigan:
