Joao Felix has already given Aston Villa January transfer response
Joao Felix stated his commitment to Chelsea earlier this month, despite his limited playing time at the club since his £45m transfer last summer.
Felix has only started three times for Chelsea in the Premier League so far this season, following his transfer from Atletico Madrid in August, with boss Enzo Maresca making it clear Cole Palmer is his first choice in a lone attacking midfielder role.
Felix has started more matches for Chelsea in both the Europa Conference League and FA Cup, and speaking after scoring a double in their third round victory over Morecambe earlier this month, the Portuguese forward did not appear frustrated with his situation at Stamford Bridge.

“I try to enjoy every time I’m on the pitch, whether it’s one minute, five minutes, or 90 minutes,” he said. “I played 90 minutes and I’m happy with that. I tried to do my best and help the team. The only way to do it is to keep working, and when they need me, I will be there to help the team.”
Having missed out on signing Felix to Chelsea last summer, Aston Villa are once again targeting him before the January transfer window deadline.
