Sunderland are fending off further interest in superstar Jobe Bellingham - according to reports.

The teenage midfielder is enjoying his breakthrough campaign at the Stadium of Light with the Black Cats out to secure a return to the Premier League come the end of the season. With January additions on their way, manager Regis Le Bris wants to make sure his squad is ready for that task as we approach the business end of the term.

Here, we look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding Sunderland and their Championship rivals;

Man Utd and Arsenal eye Jobe Bellingham

According to The Sun, Bellingham will remain at Sunderland this month despite mooted offers from Manchester United and Arsenal.

Crystal Palace's interest is also mentioned, once again, but ensuring promotion this season seems a priority, with Jobe set to stay put. Bellingham could cost up to £20million and the summer might present a chance for pastures new in Europe.

But, for now, it seems Sunderland is the perfect fit and the 19-year-old looks to be going nowhere.

New challenge awaits for Oliver Bainbridge

Defender Oliver Bainbridge spent the first half of the season on loan at Kilmarnock - with the 19-year-old back at the club, as per Sunderland Echo.

Bainbridge made nine appearances during his time in Scotland - and another loan spell for the second half of the season could yet be in the pipeline.

Having made his debut against Celtic, in front of some 60,000 supporters, the youngster also played in the UEFA Conference League this term which will have benefited him no end.

Roma manager on Enzo Le Fee loan deal

Sunderland's impending loan deal for Enzo Le Fee is being heavily talked up elsewhere in the media.

It looks like 24-year-old will make a loan switch to the Stadium of Light this month - and could really help bolster the Black Cats promotion credentials.

"As far as Le Fee is concerned, he should go," said Roma boss Claudio Ranieri earlier this week. "[Thursday] he said goodbye to me and I must say I was sorry to let him go.

"I'm sincere. I told him that he had the bad luck to experience a change of coach.

"I never had the opportunity to really try him out because I had to prioritise right away. But I liked the boy, and a lot. As I've said before, those who aren't happy to be here, those who suffer too much, I understand.

"He's young and it's natural. I too, many years ago, left Roma for the same reason."
