Joe Rogan reveals huge fight purse Jon Jones is demanding for UFC showdown vs Tom Aspinall
Joe Rogan has claimed that Jon Jones is demanding more than £20million to fight Tom Aspinall in a bout to unify the UFC heavyweight titles.
UFC chief Dana White is eager for Jones, 37, to face Aspinall, 31, and last month said that the fight would "100 per cent" happen in 2025, insisting it would be the "biggest fight in heavyweight history".
Jones has been the heavyweight champion since defeating Ciryl Gane, and was set for a first defence of the belt against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295.

But after Jones withdrew from the bout at Madison Square Garden in New York due to injury, Aspinall was handed the opportunity to step in for the Co-Main Event at UFC 295 and beat Russia's Sergei Pavlovich to claim the interim title in the process.
Back in November, though, Jones returned to the Octagon in a rescheduled bout and made light work of his first defence of the heavyweight belt as he defeated Miocic by knockout in the third round.
Before the fight against Miocic, Jones had continually poured cold water on the possibility of a future unification bout against Aspinall. However, he later admitted he would want "F**** money", if he agreed to the eye-watering heavyweight clash.
And now well-known UFC commentator Rogan has hinted that a fight between the two heavyweight stars could soon be signed off, with the UFC set to pay the American roughly £23million for the bout.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, he said: "I think it's gonna be Aspinall... I think they're trying to come to some sort of agreement.
"The rumour is that he [Jones] wants $30m and the UFC is going to pay it. Hopefully... I hope they pay it."
Assessing the potential match-up between the pair in December, Rogan continued: "I want to know [what would happen]. Here's the question with Aspinall. What happens to Aspinall in the second round?
"If you want to talk about a guy who sprints," he said. "If you want to talk about a guy who is fast-twitch, Aspinall might be the fastest heavyweight in the history of the sport."
Aspinall has not fought since defeating Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304, held back in July.
