Derby County issue statement as John Eustace adds two coaches
John Eustace has added to his back-room team after recruiting a new goalkeeper coach and bringing in a Derby County favourite.
Paul Clements, who was a free agent having left Stoke City midway through the season, has come on board for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
Clements spent eight years at Huddersfield Town, where he was head of goalkeeping and worked with several managers including David Wagner, before being reunited with the German at Norwich City in the summer of 2023.

When Narcis Pelach left Carrow Road to take over at the bet365 Clements followed him but also left after just a few months as Mark Robins shuffled his staff.
Eustace has recently arrived at Pride Park and it was recently confirmed that Andy Warrington would move on in the wake of Paul Warne’s departure.
Eustace has brought with him trusted lieutenants Matt Gardiner and Keith Downing – and Clements is next through the door where he will work with established first choice Jacob Widell Zetterström.
Derby have also confirmed they have brought in Steve Round on a part-time basis.
The club issued a statement which read: "Steve Round has agreed to work with John Eustace and his coaching staff on a part-time basis in a support role and allow them to tap into his significant experience for the remainder of the campaign.
"Round – a former Derby full-back in the 1990s – began his coaching career with the Rams under the late Jim Smith and has since been on the backroom staff at various clubs at the highest level of the English game, most recently at Arsenal."
