John McGinn injury update as Unai Emery confirms fresh Aston Villa blow
Unai Emery fears he could lose John McGinn for a number of weeks, depending on the severity of the hamstring injury he suffered in Aston Villa's win over Leicester City.
The midfielder was substituted in the 19th minute of the match and was replaced by Jacob Ramsey. McGinn sat on the pitch after feeling discomfort in his hamstring, but was able to walk freely to the substitutes bench.
Asked about McGinn's injury in his post-match press conference, Emery said: "I think it could be hamstring. He could be out for two, three, four, five weeks."

It is the second hamstring injury which McGinn has picked up this season after also missing matches against Ipswich Town, Bayern Munich and Manchester United earlier in the season having suffered a problem in the win over Wolves.
Villa's next Premier League match comes against Everton on January 15 after Emery's side host West Ham in the FA Cup third round.
They'll play a total of seven matches in 22 days from when they face West Ham in the cup to playing Wolves at Molineux at the start of February. Villa's final two Champions League league phase matches against AS Monaco and Celtic will be played eight days apart either side of a league match against West Ham on Sunday, January 26.
