Jorrel Hato Anfield appearance sparks Liverpool transfer disagreement
Liverpool Echo readers have been debating the recent appearance of Jorrell Hato at this weekend's Liverpool match. Liverpool's January transfer window has been notably subdued, with no new signings and minimal rumours. However, as the month draws to a close, Jorrel Hato has surfaced as a potential target.
TeamTalk reports that Liverpool is eyeing Hato for the summer due to ongoing doubts about Virgil van Dijk's future. Yet, with Chelsea and Real Madrid also showing interest, there's talk of moving the deal forward to January.
Speculation was further sparked when Hato was spotted at Liverpool, but TeamTalk clarifies he was merely visiting as Ryan Gravenberch's guest, unrelated to transfer dealings. Despite this, Liverpool, along with Real Madrid, are keen observers of the Dutch talent.

Capable of playing center-back or left-back, Hato is an 18-year-old from Rotterdam. Coming through the Sparta Rotterdam ranks as a child, he moved into the famed Ajax youth system as he entered his teenage years.
A January exit from Ajax seems off the table, with Hato tied down until 2028.
Commentary from fans has been mixed, with Marcin22222 saying: "Hato was there mostly because his friends with Gravenberch and he's during his Dutch league winter break so he had time to go to the game. I doubt his appearance there had anything to do with his or club interest in signing him."
Derek57keeper believes: "Very likely the reason Hato was there. Dutch winter break was over, Ajax weren't playing because they have a Europa game this week. The Dutch league give those teams involved in Europa games the week end off if they were due to play on the Sunday. PSV played Saturday so they didn't benefit from that rule."
Headlockfc adds: "I don't know much about Hato, but what I do know is we are one injury at CB away from a big problem."
While Johnnyhotrocks1 looks at the overall transfer issue by commenting: "Edward's and his return is the reason here. This guy is the brains behind all these contract standoffs. Expect more of this behaviour with Hughes as his public buffer. Things are going well at the minute so there's no real room for criticism. We have to win the league or Edwards and Hughes will get the blame as the contract situation will ultimately be highlighted as a big distraction."
