Jose Mourinho 'falls asleep' in press conference after Europa League disaster against Rangers
Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho feigned falling asleep in his post-match press conference following Fenerbahce's 3-1 loss to Rangers in Istanbul.
The Glasgow club, under the temporary charge of Barry Ferguson, stunned their hosts in Turkey as goals from Cyriel Dessers and a Vaclav Cerny brace stunned Mourinho's men. The defeat leaves Fenerbahce with a mountain to climb in the second leg at Ibrox and the Portuguese head coach was characteristically tetchy after the match.
One question in his post-match interview particularly pushed him over the edge. During a long question delivered to Mourinho in Turkish, the legendary coach could be seen mimicking being asleep as the journalist continued.

Noticing that he was losing the interest of Mourinho, the journalist wrapped up and it was then the turn of the translator to relay what had just been asked. "So coach you spoke about the mistakes in the defensive line but can you say that the substitutions that you made and the changes that you made in the formation might be the reason [for the defeat]," the translator asked as you could tell Mourinho was getting more impatient.
"Because, for example, against Antalyaspor you played a back three which was Muldur, Skriniar and Soyuncu and today you started with Soyuncu, Skriniar and Akcicek. But then Soyuncu had to come out and Djiku came on and in the 46th minute you put Talisca on and substituted…"

"Oh this is too much for my head," Mourinho interrupted to the surprise of those in the room. "I am tired man, [after] 90 minutes I don’t want to listen to all of this.
"I am too tired for that." The 62-year-old arrived in Turkey during the summer and has led Fenerbahce to second in the Super Lig, four points behind Galatasaray.
