Jose Mourinho's feud with Paul Pogba takes another bizarre twist
It looked like an innocuous, friendly exchange between a Manchester United player and his sullen manager but it appears Jose Mourinho did not take lightly to Paul Pogba’s handshake on live TV.
The £89m Premier League record signing interrupted Mourinho’s post-match interview with Match of the Day after his side’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford in which the French midfielder missed through injury.
Pogba leaned in while the Special One was answering questions to shake his manager’s hand in an apparent public show of solidarity between the two.

Questions had been asked about the relationship between the French playmaker and the United boss after losing his place in the team amid reports of a training ground bust-up, with Pogba angry at being played out of position.

And now it seems the handshake did nothing to repair that relationship as Pogba has not started either game since, despite being fit. He was ready to face Sevilla last Tuesday and Brighton but started both games on the bench.
Mourinho appeared to laugh off Pogba’s interruption but behind closed doors is reportedly furious with the midfielder, according to The Sun, putting further strain on the pair’s relationship.
He believes the interruption was disrespectful and is the latest outburst from the famously frosty manager; adding to last week’s 12-minute rant about his team’s exit from the Champions League.
