Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold's strong friendship with Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has once again been showcased. On England duty, the duo are often captured laughing with each other or showing off their competitive side on the training pitches.

During the Qatar World Cup in 2022, when Bellingham was still at Borussia Dortmund, links over a move to Liverpool were huge. Ultimately, the midfielder signed for Real Madrid, and now it is Alexander-Arnold who is the player that could be set for a move that sees him join up with Bellingham.

The Spanish giants saw a bid for Alexander-Arnold rejected before considering an improved second proposal. The 26-year-old, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, sees his current contract expire in just six months, which means he could leave as a free agent in the summer.

If he does end up departing Merseyside, the Spanish capital is seen as his most likely destination. Such is the nature of their relationship; the pair can break out into laughter at the smallest of things, with that evidenced in a video uploaded to England's YouTube channel.

As they answered fans' dilemmas, Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold were presented with a scenario that a teammate had been doing so well in one particular training game, there was a suspicion that he was cheating. Bellingham then suggested he had experienced exactly this and subtly hinted it was Alexander-Arnold involved.

"Sounds like one I might have sent in to be fair," he said, cheekily looking at the man opposite him. "I've got a really good mate who loves to cheat. What would you do in that situation? Just out of interest." The Liverpool man replied: "So I'm just a regular player and there's one person that's really good who I think might be cheating."

"What about if there is evidence? On this specific person, there may or may not be evidence," Bellingham chimed in. "Is it concrete?" Alexander-Arnold quickly snapped back with Bellingham then revealing, "stonewall, but you've only caught him once."

In response, Alexander-Arnold said: "You continued to let him play?" Following that question, Bellingham said: "I may have pulled him but may have [also] joined him." The pair then laughed, with Alexander-Arnold particularly in stitches, and did their own handshake.

Just as the Reds man was about to explain the inside joke, the feed was cut from the video before returning to a new question, likely in order to avoid any other teammates being exposed.

Throughout the 11-minute video, the England internationals continue to bounce off each other, and if their partnership on the pitch is anything like the one off it, Madrid will be set for the next few years in two key positions if Alexander-Arnold does depart his boyhood club.
