Spanish defender Julio Pleguezuelo has been given the medical all clear to play for Plymouth Argyle in their Championship clash against West Bromwich Albion at Home Park on Saturday.

The 28-year-old was substituted in the closing stages of the 2-2 draw away to Sunderland after taking knocks in the previous two games, against Queens Park Rangers and Burnley. However, he has been passed fit for the visit of fifth-placed West Brom.

Pleguezuelo and Victor Palsson have been Argyle's only two available central defenders for their last three matches after Brendan Galloway was ruled out for the season by injury. Kornel Szucs has also been on the casualty list since he last played in the 0-0 draw at Stoke City on January 4.

Muslic said about Pleguezuelo: "He received a hit already against QPR and then Burnley at the same spot. He managed to play I think 80-85 minutes (at Sunderland) then got subbed off.

"He missed two training sessions but he did the most important one of the week, the matchday minus three session. We have got the green light from the medical department and Julio is ready to play and I will put him on the pitch again."

On Szucs, the Pilgrims' boss said: "He's maybe seven, 10 days maximum, away from being selectable. He's a strong profile, a strong character returning back to support us. I'm very much looking forward to seeing Kornel because he's a good one."

West Brom had their first win since the experienced Tony Mowbray began his second spell as their boss when they beat Portsmouth 5-1 at The Hawthorns last Saturday.

Muslic said: "I saw them against Portsmouth, pretty impressive to be fair. Super offensive-minded, offensive players with a lot of freedom so people can be everywhere, a lot of rotations.

"Very patient in possession, dragging opponent players out of position and aiming to attack them. Very strong in one-on-ones. So weapons and strength all over the pitch.

"But we also saw some things we can turn into our advantage. It's another top six team we have to face, and I think if we can manage to have the same structure and organisation like we did at Sunderland there are possibilities for us to hurt and to attack West Bromwich, and that's the plan."
