A new multi-part documentary which covers Jurgen Klopp's period at Liverpool will be released on February 28th, it has been confirmed. Doubters to Believers Liverpool FC: Klopp’s Era will arrive on Amazon Prime at the end of next month.

The series features interviews with players including Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Jayden Danns, plus extensive time with Klopp during and after his final season in charge, and interviews with some members of his old coaching staff at Anfield, including Pep Lijnders.

The documentary was actually commissioned towards the back end of 2023, intending to bring viewers behind-the-scenes insight from the club's 2023-24 season, but was tweaked following the departure of Klopp last summer.

The documentary, which is being produced by London-based company Lorton Entertainment, was first announced to the public in January 2024, just weeks after Klopp announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

While the series was originally scheduled to be eight episodes long, it will now include just four episodes, with Klopp having been re-interviewed since leaving Liverpool, with a wider focus on his time at the club as a whole.

A key part of Liverpool's decision to do the documentary, which is a club project, was the potential to generate significant income. Rival clubs such as Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal each generated millions from series documenting behind-the-scenes goings-on at their clubs in recent years.

The City, Tottenham and Arsenal series, which were released in 2018, 2020 and 2022 respectively, were all produced by Amazon Studios and are on Amazon Prime, while Netflix and Disney+ have had success with their respective series covering Sunderland and Wrexham in recent years.
