Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah in furious touchline row at West Ham in latest title blow
Liverpool's title aspirations took another hit at West Ham, with Jurgen Klopp's prolonged farewell to the club potentially turning bitter following a touchline spat with Mohamed Salah during a 2-2 draw.
Salah, who was unexpectedly left out of the starting eleven, was called upon by Klopp in the 79th minute after Michail Antonio levelled the score for West Ham.
The Egyptian forward had a heated discussion with his manager, with fellow substitute Darwin Nunez stepping in to calm his teammate.
This unsightly incident marked the end of another disappointing performance from Liverpool, who could have temporarily matched league leaders Arsenal with a win.
Despite trailing from a Jarrod Bowen header, they managed to take a 2-1 lead courtesy of Andy Robertson's quick-fire shot and a farcical own goal from West Ham.
However, Antonio's header resulted in two more points being dropped, with Klopp's final season at the helm continuing to peter out.

Salah was brought into the game shortly after his heated exchange with Klopp, but he failed to make a significant impact as Liverpool's stuttering end to the season persisted.
The result leaves Arsenal three points ahead of third-placed Liverpool with a game in hand, while West Ham saw the gap between themselves and the European places grow to four points.
