Jurgen Klopp to show his ruthless side in new job as manager faces the sack one month in
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering whether Marco Rose should be sacked as RB Leipzig manager if the German club's results don't improve.
Leipzig has won just one of its last five matches, and the club also endured a hugely disappointing Champions League campaign, finishing 34th out of 36 teams in the new league phase.
Klopp previously managed Rose during the latter's playing career, when the pair were at Mainz together, but SportBild reports that the legendary former Reds boss is considering Rose's future at Leipzig..
Roger Schmidt, Sebastian Hoeness and Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner are all reportedly viewed as potential replacements for Rose, who became the Leipzig manager in 2022.

Klopp gave his first press conference since starting his new position earlier on in January and said that he will not return to management with any of the Red Bull clubs, so there is no danger of him replacing Rose should the 48-year-old be dismissed.
"I will not be the coach of a Red Bull team," Klopp said. "That is a clear commitment. As much as you can give a guarantee, I will not be a coach at all. I am probably the only person in this room who will be asked where are you in five years, I don't have a clue. But I will not be a replacement of one of the Red Bull coaches. I hope we can create a structure where these questions will not come up at all."
Klopp started in his role as Red Bull's Global Head of Soccer earlier this year, seven months on from bringing his near nine-year stint at Anfield to an end.
In his new position, Klopp is responsible for overseeing Red Bull’s international network of soccer clubs, with Red Bull saying he will provide strategic vision and support individual sporting directors in advancing the Red Bull philosophy. Klopp will also support the organization’s global scouting operation, and contribute to the training and development of coaches.
