Juric reacts to first win: 'I told the players we have training tomorrow morning'
SAINTS manager Ivan Juric insisted the hard work continues with training on Sunday morning despite his side's 2-1 win at Ipswich Town.
Saints revived their faint survival hopes with only a second Premier League victory of the season thanks to Paul Onuachu’s 87th-minute winner.
This bottom-of-the-table clash looked destined to finish all square after Liam Delap struck after 31 minutes to cancel out Joe Aribo’s opener.
The result marked a first league win for new boss Juric, who had been beaten in each of his previous six outings after he was hired in December.
Speaking after the match, Juric said: "It's important to the players, the fans. I think we deserve it. Before we did some really good games.
It still means so much. Southampton’s first Premier League win since November. #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/4b2iYOowUh

"Against Manchester West Ham and we didn't get the points. Today we suffered a little bit more, but great character, quality in the final and we won.
"I told the players that tomorrow morning we have training. We have to believe that we are not as bad as it seems and try to win the other games.
"We have to believe, we have to play every time like this, working hard during the week and then we will see.
"I had the feeling from the beginning that we are doing a good job now because I was watching the players," continued the 49 year old.
"Aribo, Lesley Ugochukwu, Onuachu, Kamaldeen Sulemana, they changed, they are better and we were really unlucky sometimes in some games.
"I can say that in the Premier League, it's really when you play against a Newcastle United that there is a high quality.
"Even if you do everything good you can lose. I have a good feeling now I am working for Southampton, I think we can improve.
"We can create something. I have my ideas about how we have to work and which kind of players we need and I just keep going."
Saints are back in action with an FA Cup fourth round match against Championship promotion-hopefuls Burnley on Saturday, February 8.
