Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has been linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus, according to reports in Italy.

The 26-year-old France international signed for the London club from AS Monaco in the summer of 2023 and he has made just shy of 60 appearances across all competitions so far. Disasi remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2029, but his limited game time under Enzo Maresca this season has prompted reports of a possible move away.

Disasi has featured 16 times across all competitions this term, most recently in their FA Cup third round triumph over League Two side Morecambe. He played the full 90 minutes at centre back alongside Tosin Adarabioyo, who scored twice in the 5-0 win.

According to Di Marzio, Juventus are prioritising defensive reinforcements in January and Disasi is among the names under consideration by Thiago Motta's side. Juve have suffered somewhat of an injury crisis at centre back with both Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal both out, while Danilo has been heavily tipped to depart this month.

Benfica's Antonio Silva, Ronald Araujo and Disasi are rumoured to be the names on Juve's list this month. The defender's versatility and ability to play as both a central defender and a full back is rumoured to be one of the key reasons for the Italian giant's interest.

Despite widespread speculation about Disasi's future, a report from the BBC back in December indicated a January move was not on the cards for the defender. The article claims he is happy at Chelsea, despite his minimal game time, and will not push for an exit, nor will the manager push for the player to depart.
