The dumbest "controversy" sprouted up on Wednesday, when Philadelphia Eagles fan and New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns wore a shirt supporting the Birds while he was on the bench with an injury.

Fans roasted the heck out of him. And in the second half of the Knicks' eventual win, he changed his shirt.

Why? Was it due to all the roasting, which is ridiculous because who cares if he roots for the Eagles?

No, he says: "Aye twitter, Sweat stains ain’t it on ESPN. Had to pull another fit out! anyways…GO BIRDS.”

Great. Let's move on from this.
