Double Olympic bronze medallist Kelly Sotherton has told Yahoo Sport she takes her role as coach and inspiration incredibly seriously.

She won medals at the Athens 2004 Games in the heptathlon and 4x400m relay and now coaches major prospects Morgan Lake and Jazmin Sawyers.

Sotherton chatted to Mark Lawford and told him if she can make the difference to just one single person she will have succeeded – and spoke passionately about her role as a coach.
