Huddersfield Town owner Kevin Nagle said he is “very happy to make a third important signing this window” following Dion Charles’ arrival at the club.

The Terriers bolstered their frontline further with the addition of Charles, who has signed for Town from fellow League One outfit Bolton Wanderers.

The 29-year-old forward is the second striker that Town have brought in this month, with the Terriers also recruiting Joe Taylor from Championship outfit Luton Town, while wing-back Ruben Roosken has also joined from Dutch side Heracles Almelo.

The trio have strengthened a squad that currently sit fourth in the League One table, as Michael Duff’s side gear up for a promotion push in the second half of the campaign.

Reflecting on the club’s latest addition, Nagle said on X: “Welcome to the club, Dion! Very happy to make a third important signing this window and add to Michael’s options in attack. I did say you can never have enough strikers.

“We have an exciting second half of the season coming, with 15 games unbeaten and over three months without a loss in the league to build on.

“We are doing our part and will continue giving our all across the club. Myself, Jake (Edwards, CEO), Mark (Cartwright, sporting director), Michael – EVERYONE. UTT.”

Attacking duo Taylor and Charles could make their Town debuts against Blackpool this weekend, with the Terriers taking on the 16th-placed Seasiders at Bloomfield Road on Saturday in a 12.30pm kick-off.
